Dry tortugas national park

The Dry Tortugas deliver some of the most exhilarating fishing in the Americas, where prestine Reefs meet the Gulf Stream, yielding everything from Mutton Snapper and Black Grouper to Pelagics such as Tuna, Mahi‑Mahi, and Sailfish.

The legacy of Captain Daniel Delph, whose 60+ years of generational knowledge, creates unforgettable, trophy‑worthy days on the water.

A brief history: the Dry Tortugas sit at the far western edge of the Florida Keys, named for the plentiful sea turtles early explorers found (tortugas). Long prized for strategic navigation, the islands became the site of Fort Jefferson in the 19th century — a massive brick fortress built to protect Gulf shipping lanes — and later an isolated military outpost. Over time the forts and surrounding coral reefs gave way to conservation: today the Dry Tortugas are protected as a national park and marine sanctuary, preserving pristine flats, vibrant reefs, and a legacy of maritime history that makes every trip there feel like visiting a living museum of sea, sky, and story.

At DELPH LEGACY CHARTERS™ we combine history with no‑compromise guiding — decades of local wisdom, top‑tier gear, and relentless pursuit of the next great run.
